Abrasive blasting, Shot blasting, Grit blasting, Media Blasting or Sand blasting as it is more commonly known as, is really a method of forcibly propelling with compressed air a stream of grit particles that are fired under visual control. We actually use a medium grit because we find it is the best to sandblast with, as it does not damage or pockmark the metals surface too much.
Media blasting as it is also known as will roughen a smooth surface, smooth a rough surface, it can also etch away rust, corrosion and old paint.

Projects undertaken in our blast room include classic scooters, motorbikes, cycles, rocker covers, springs, steel wheels, pressings, machine parts, garden furniture, cast radiators, railings, gates and much more.
